Well that only happened to me just over 24hrs ago!
It causes lots and lots of pain i was screaming loads in A&E until morphine kicked in.
The types of burns all vary. I've only burnt top layer of my skin so it hurts more as i didnt kill the nerve endings. I'm very lucky i dont need skin grafts but if the fryer had been on then maybe i would (i turned it off about 20mins before) i had blisters all over my hand which the nurse just wiped off and cut off the dead skin. i now can barely move my hand and the dressing has to be changed every two days!! THINK BEFORE YOU EVEN PUT YOUR HAND NEAR HOT OIL BECAUSE I NOW HAVE TO PAY THE PRICE!!
