I think the 1930s through the 1950s. I think it started with metal handles, then went to plastic(probably bakelite) then they switched to glass lids.

It was billed as waterless cookware.

Where can you purchase club aluminum hammercraft cookware?

After lots of research today, I wasnt able to get a definitive answer. I found on line several things which I will share. One was a 1948 issue of Rotary magazine with an ad for the Cookware and Alcoa mentioned. Then I will tell you my mother had my pots originally and she was married in 1943. Her set came with metal lids and wood knobs, later ones had glass lids. here is what other sites said Aluminum Company was originally organized in Chicago in 1923 as the Club Aluminum Utensil Company for the purpose of selling aluminum pots and pans in the home on the "party" plan, much like Tupperware was sold in later years. A severe downturn in sales during the depression put the company into bankruptcy in 1933. Club Aluminum survived the depression and eventually was renamed Club Products; the company was acquired by Standard International Corporation in 1968. What temperature will warp club aluminum?

Club aluminum, commonly used in sports equipment, typically begins to warp at temperatures around 400°F (204°C). Prolonged exposure to such heat can cause structural changes in the material, compromising its integrity. For safety and performance, it's best to avoid exposing aluminum clubs to high temperatures, such as those found in direct sunlight for extended periods or in heated environments.

Is club aluminum harmful to your body?

If you're referring to aluminum baseball bats, probably not. Very little aluminum is transferred to the hands from bats, especially when using gloves during play. It is worth noting that for most people, the largest amount of aluminum enters the body through eating baked goods (bread, cakes, doughnuts) that use aluminum phosphate as part of their ingredients to increase rising of the dough. If you cook at home, you can also purchase aluminum-free baking powder yourself.
