Jhoom farming is the farming which the land is left for some years after cutting crops from it .the weed and other unwanted plants are not pulled out , they are all cut and burnt .the ash makes the land fertile , when the land is ready for it to the next farming it's not ploughed and the seeds are dropped on it and in different farms different crops are grown up in example: carrot , beetroot , chilly , rice , wheat etc.
