The food pyramid is a graphic representation of how much of various types of foods you should include in your diet. The bottom of the pyramid (and the largest portion) is for grains, cereals, bread, and pasta. The next tier (somewhat smaller) is for fruits and vegetables. The next (smaller still) is for dairy, eggs, cheese, meats, and fish. The last and smallest is for fats and sugars.
