It depends on the size and quantity of the moss. If there is little on it then you should be fine. The worst it could do is give you an upset stomach and make you sick for a few days.

Not, positive, original contributor -- but, I believe that they mean mold, rather than moss. Yes? Bread would disintegrate (and mold) far too quickly for moss to take hold and grow.
If your bread is green (or green-blue) and fuzzy? That is mold, the type from which they create the antibiotic penicillin.

There are many different kinds of ingredients that grow mold. Fruits and breads can grow many different kinds of mold.
That depends upon the mold. Consider Blue Cheese, Gorgonzola and Brie which are all made with mold which is quite edible. But don't eat mold that is a result of spoilage and doesn't normally belong on the food you intend to eat.

It depends on the mold. I'm sure some of then would be very dangerous to ingest, but others are not - the "blue" in blue cheese is mold, and it is edible and delicious.

it depends most cheese is aged but so then there is no mold, then there is some cheese that you get fresh and then you have your bleu cheese with edible mold on it...i hope that this helps :)
