While technically there is not a list of attributes you must have, in general, good personal hygiene (no one wants someone baking for them that hasn't washed their hands in days) is a must. It would also be helpful to have a passion for baking and the baking gives you personal satisfaction and a major project (oh, say spending 12+ hours on a wedding cake) is a "job well done" so long as the customer loves what you did for them.
