The simple answer is that you can't. I've been trying to find a replacement for my 6 qt Rival Crock pot for almost a year. The manufacturer does not replace it, nor do any other sites. I am so angry that they would sell this product and expect you to buy a new one when the stoneware, after only a few uses, cracks.
For jewelry pickling, a crock pot that can maintain a consistent temperature of around 150°F to 200°F is ideal. The Rival Crock-Pot and the Hamilton Beach Stay or Go models are popular choices due to their reliability and temperature control. It's important to ensure the crock pot is made of non-reactive materials, as you will be working with acidic solutions. Additionally, a removable stoneware insert is beneficial for easy cleaning.
I was going to use mine too. Mine a Rival, has a stoneware insert. It says it can go in the oven, but does not mention temps. The lid can not go in, but I thought I could use heavy foil. I think I'll check their site first for temp info. I found this on the crock pot website. It says that all Crock-Pot slow cooker removable crockery may be used safely in the oven with temperatures up to 400°F without the lid.

Almost any recipe can be modified to use with your crock pot, that's why crock pots are great. Crock pots can be hard to clean, but if you use a liner it is much easier.
A crock can be kept in a freezer without any problem, if that's what you are wondering.
No, the crock from a Rival Crock Pot Model No 38651 is not designed for oven use. It is made for slow cooking and may not withstand high oven temperatures, potentially leading to damage or breakage. Always check the manufacturer's guidelines for specific usage recommendations to ensure safety.
