Nicephore Niepce is credited with inventing the first successful photographic process in the 1820s, known as heliography. He created the first known photograph called "View from the Window at Le Gras" using this technique.
The method is called sgraffito. It involves scratching off the top layer of a pigmented surface to reveal the contrasting color underneath, creating a design or image. This technique is commonly used in ceramics, painting, and printmaking.

Edwin Perkins died on July 3rd, 1961. He was born in Lewis, Iowa, and is credited with inventing the drink called Kool-Aid, which was created in 1927.
