Some boiled eggs are difficult to peel because the pH level of the egg white affects how easily the shell separates from the egg. Fresh eggs have a lower pH level, making them harder to peel, while older eggs have a higher pH level, making them easier to peel.
It depends on how fresh they are. Eggs that are very recently laid will often have the white stick to the shell a bit.
If you are having trouble peeling a hard boiled egg (that thin membrane is not coming off of the shiny egg white, thus making the shell come off in very small pieces and it's taking forever), chances are the egg meat has not shrunk away from the shell. This can usually be solved by placing the hard boiled egg in ice water for a few minutes so the meat will contract.
When boiled potato peel is put in water, a starchy liquid is created. This liquid can be used as a thickening agent in recipes, as it contains some of the potato's natural starch. Additionally, some nutrients from the potato peel may also leach into the water.
You can make a banana-apple smoothie with the milk and have some deviled eggs or just hard boiled eggs.
After the egg is boiled, place the egg in a container with ice. The shell of the egg can easily peel off when the egg is cold. After it is cold, slightly crack the shell then begin to peel it off. But, remember that some eggs are hard to peel even when they are cold. Good luck! Add a pinch of salt to the water before you boil the eggs, it will make it easier to peel later. When the eggs are done pour off the hot water and add ice cubes place a lid on the pot and shake it back and forth, the ice will crack the egg shells. Let the eggs remain in the ice for about 10 or 15 minutes. Peeling will be much easier. As soon as you get your eggs boiled (don't boil in an enamel pot or you can't get a even peel), run cold water over the eggs until the water becomes cool. Tap the top and bottom of the egg on a hard surface to break the thin skin between the shell and egg. Hold egg under cold running water, roll between palms (back and forth), peel shell off and have a perfect egg! Use your thumbnail to get under the membrane under the shell. Keep working at it and it should all eventually slough off. What if the egg has already been refrigerated? Simple! Place it back in really hot water for a while, then run it under very cold water, and it should peel a lot better than if it was peeled right from the fridge.

About 4-5 Hours at the most, afterwards they start to get rubbery and pretty nasty. Also I wouldn't suggest leaving them out at all due to the fact that Boiled eggs tend to do some funny stuff when left out.
Maggots do not form in boiled eggs. Maggots are the larvae of flies. Flies lay their eggs on meat, carrion or other rotting flesh. Although some insects might lay their eggs on cooked eggs, the egg shell would have to be broken and the contents exposed to contamination for any sort of larvae to grow.
Hard-boiled eggs can cause gas in some individuals, primarily due to their protein content and the presence of sulfur compounds. When eggs are digested, these compounds can produce gas as a byproduct, especially in those with sensitivities to certain proteins or those who have difficulty digesting them. Additionally, if eggs are consumed with other gas-producing foods, the likelihood of experiencing gas may increase. However, for most people, hard-boiled eggs are unlikely to cause significant gas.
Some Easter recipes that are common in the Spring are Apple Cider-glazed ham, hard boiled eggs, pea soup, bunny cupcakes and deviled eggs.
yes but if you do it to long it will blowup and it makes a mess so be carefull You must first put a small pin whole at each end of the egg. If you microwave more than 60 - 70 seconds you will still get a mess. My wife is still hunting me down for that mistake
