It absorbs the smelly urine, the enzymes in the urine, and it really really does work, if you do it correctly... You MUST put enough on it,. If you dont, it wont work.. Put a pile of it on the spot, then spritz with vinegar water, half and half.. You will see, after 3 hours, you can take it up, vaccum or brush away.... Clean as a whilstle.
