In the past the Philippine NBI allowed licensed engineers to apply for NBI Special investigators position. As of 2012 the NBI is only taking in Licensed Attorneys and CPAs for applicants for the position of Agent. The NBI did have plans to recruit those with a computer background during the time of Director M Gatdula. There were plans to place succesfull candidates in various support positions. You may still want to inquire with personnel division if they are still screening for those with a computer background
