when using a crimper, adjust the heat to your type of hair. thicker hair can use high heat and thin hair will use low to medium heat. put a simple protecting to your hair. i is optional, but recommended. even something like hairspray will do. pull half of your hair up into a bun and crimp the bottom half of your hair first. use sections of hair that are a wide a the base of your crimper. start crimping close to the roots and release after holding for 7-12 seconds. move down to get the rest of your hair crimped. after completing the bottom half, let down the rest of your hair and repeat.
