Calypso wants Odysseus to stay with her on the island forever.
Calypso offers to make Odysseus immortal and forever young if he will stay with her on her island. Odysseus respectfully refuses her offer.

Calypso's island for seven years
Odysseus spent seven years on the island of Ogygia with the nymph Calypso.
She thinks Odysseus will forget about his home and family and stay with her.
Odysseus' have no desire for home any longer and just want to stay on the island. Odysseus has to tie them up and drag them out of the island.
Zeus sent Hermes to tell Calypso to set Odysseus free. Calypso offered Odyseus immortality to make him stay, but he refused to stay on Ogygia.
Odysseus stayed on Circe's island for one year, which he thought were a few days; Odysseus stayed on Calypso's Island for seven years. After staying with these goddesses he had two more years of trying to return home.
He had no ship. And Calypso was in love with him and did not show him where to get material to build a ship.
They were disobedient because they started eating locust which made them want to stay on the island
Calypso initially resists releasing Odysseus because she has feelings for him and wishes for him to stay with her. However, she ultimately agrees to let him go when Zeus orders her to do so, realizing that it is his fate to return home to his wife, Penelope.
