Bedouins
Nomads who lived in Arabia were commonly referred to as Bedouins. They traditionally inhabited desert regions, leading a semi-nomadic lifestyle characterized by herding camels, goats, and sheep, and moving between seasonal pastures. Bedouin culture is rich in oral poetry, storytelling, and strong tribal affiliations, reflecting their deep connection to the harsh desert environment.
My ancestors were nomads. The nomads of this desert use cell phones.
the reason is nomads traded animal products and desert herbs for goods such as cooking supplies and clothing.
That depends entirely on where the nomads are. Nomads in the Arabian deserts for example may have sheep or goats as a major food source. Nomads like the Lapps in northern Norway, Sweden, Finland and Russia would rely on reindeer. Before the coming of Europeans, nomadic Native Americans relied on Bison or deer or pronghorn for food (depending on where they lived).

Paleolithic
The Arabian geography played a significant role in shaping the way Muslims lived. The desert landscape fostered a reliance on trade, which influenced their economy and culture. Additionally, the harsh environment promoted qualities like resilience, communal living, and a strong sense of tribal identity that have influenced Islamic society.
Being Muslim or not did not really change the lifestyle of desert nomads. They generally lived as pastoralists in small communities. They would spend much of their time cooking what food they had, building tents, and engaging in long-distance commerce.
On the coastal plain there are many desert shrubs, oleander, many kinds of palms. The animal life includes Arabian leopard, Oryx, gazelle, fox and hare. - Wikipeadia reports hyena and wolf also, but I lived there for 2 years and never saw or heard of any.
We had one that lived to 45
They were called the nomads. They lived by going to different places for food and shelter. After they consumed food that a place can provide, they look for another place to live. This stopped when people learned the way of livestock. They learned farming and growing livestock so they settled in a place.
