Pocahontas was never a leader, in any form: these myths are formed from fanciful (and outright non-truthful) legends built up around cartoons (Like Disney's production of Pocahontas) and such. Pocahontas was just a widowed woman that married a widowed 'white man,' was baptized to the Church of England, and was taken before the Queen of England to "prove these savages could be domesticated."
