Multiculturalsim - its meaning depends upon the context in which it is used. Traditionally it means people of different cultures and religions living together in the same area or neighborhood, sharing the same culutural institutions. At one time, that meant Cathoilcs and Protestants, Jews and Christians, Blacks, American Indians and Whites. In 2010 it would include Asians, Hispanics ( a made up word by the US government, Latino is the preferred term, there is no term for Hispanic in Spanish) East Indians and Pakistanis, Middle Easterners, Turks, Africans and included in these groups would be Buddhists, Shintoists, Taoists, Moslems, Hindus, Shiks. The previous post indicated that it meant the destruction of white people. There are white people in all religions and in all countries so it would be impossible to be unicultural and without destroying the entire world (an inside joke - get it).
