Ethnocentrism.
The term that refers to the concept of believing one's culture is better than others is ethnocentrism. It's the tendency to view alien groups or cultures from the perspective of one's own, and is often accompanied by feelings of dislike for other groups. It is generally developed negative connotations.
Cultural relativism is the practice of understanding another culture on its own terms and using its own standards.
Judging religions on their own terms. The principal that we should not judge the behaviour of others using the standards of our own religion and that each religion must be analysed on its own terms

Do not judge people or you will be judged for however you judge a person so shall you be judged the same way & with what measure you measure shall be measured to you .why do you look at the speck in your brother or frends eye & you pay no attention to the plank in your own eye.Dont judge people or others & point the finger at others unless you have no sin or guilt in your own life many people do judge others by their looks by the way they dress by their attitude & behaviour but the bible is clear not to judge others at all end of story.
Cultural relativism is the practice of judging any other culture using its own standards. It is not a very accurate way to judge another society, but a helpful jumping off point to understand the similarities and differences between cultures.

An island is able to have its own culture because they are surrounded by water, so they have to rely on each other and soon form customs and traditions. They conquer others by being stronger.
