Type your answer here... The main goal of the upper caste people mainly brahmin to keep up the Caste System is that the peoples are from low caste called shudra in vedic varana system never be scholar of vedic literature. They lead a by birth caste system according to this son of brahmin called brahmin whether he know about the vedic shastra or not but if somebody want to learn or read vedic litreture they said its not allowed for shudras. As per vedic vrana vayvastha its not by birth its by work, interest and virtues of the man and anybody can adopt any of varna like Brahmin, Kshatriya, Vaisya, and Shudra there are so many mantras in sacred vedas which depict that the light of vedas is for all there is no boundation of caste and creed there because its the first Davine knowledge to the world by the almighty GOD.

During Mahabharata Era when brahmin peoples become lazy and unintellectual they think that when peoples from low caste learn Vedas and other secred scripts there prestige will be down and they will finish soon that's why they lead the caste system to save themselves.
