If you're referring to Sir Francis Walsingham, Queen Elizabeth I's adviser and spymaster, he died from ill health at his home in Seething Lane, East London, close to the Tower of London. He was obsessed with his work an was very ill the last 2 years of his life and he actually attended a Council meeting the day before he died.

He died on April 6, 1590 in enormous debt and was buried on April 7, 1590.
