Well, if you mean how long after a death you should send there card...then I would say no longer than one week. If it is a month or two before you send it, the receiver might think you forgot:/
im asking you, not me.
only one day
Well you should still send them a nice card even though you aren't blood related. If you send them a card it shows that you care and you are sorry.
I sent a card to the address in Lubbock, TX and got it back saying refused. I'mtrying again with the address in Santa Monica, CA. I found this site for an e card http://www.theeternalportal.com/tributes/farrah-fawcett/sympathy-card/
Yes it is. A personalized message on it would also be nice.
* You would only send flowers to the widow or to the funeral service or both along with a sympathy card, but do not send flowers for their anniversary.
of course you do. You should send a sympathy card to to anyone who has lost a loved one. You Ex should appreciate you for this. Always send a sympathy card to someone who has lost a loved one, even if it is your enemy. It is very hard losing someone, trust me i should know, and even the smallest "i'm sorry for your loss." helps a lot.
If it's for something you're really down on and it cheered you up, yes!

Sending a sympathy card to a family member's workplace can be considered inappropriate unless you know the family well and they would appreciate the gesture. It's generally better to send the card directly to their home, as it provides a more private and personal space for them to grieve. If you're unsure, it's best to consult with someone close to the family for guidance.
It's as simple as a card or a phone call. You should do it. The one receiving it will be grateful for your thoughtfulness.
