Incurable cancer refers to a type of cancer that cannot be completely eliminated from the body, though it may be manageable with treatment to control symptoms and prolong life. Terminal cancer, on the other hand, indicates that the disease is at an advanced stage and is expected to lead to death within a short period, despite treatment. While all terminal cancers are incurable, not all incurable cancers are terminal, as some may be controlled for extended periods.

Can't you imagine if you had an incurable disease, that you would try just about anything to still live and be around for your friends and family? I have seen this many times. I wondered why someone with terminal lung cancer would do this, even if gave only an extra 3 or 4 months to live, hoping to increase it to many years. The will to live is ingrained 'in our DNA'.
