Kurt Russell starred as Wyatt Earp in the 1993 movie "Tombstone". Val Kilmer played his best friend Doc Holiday. A similar movie was made in 1994 entitled "Wyatt Earp" which starred Kevin Costner. but they were quite different movies, in perspective, and "Tombstone" was a much bigger hit at the box office.
No, Ben Affleck was not in "Tombstone." The 1993 film, which is a Western about the famous gunfight at the O.K. Corral, features actors such as Kurt Russell, Val Kilmer, and Sam Elliott. Affleck was not part of the cast for this movie.
No, but they were going to star together in Tombstone though Costner didn't make it. So not officially, no.
I note several sites asking but no clues until I hit on a PianoWorld.com forum...Josh asked & Wayne answered...'I think it's Chopin's Noctune #19 in E minor, Opus 72 No. 1.'I believe he is correct. I have been listening to the scene on my DVD of TOMBSTONE versus a great clip of that piece by a brilliant pianist ( 'Sviatoslav Richter plays Chopin Nocturne E Minor, Op. 72, #1' ) on YouTube. It is hard to be certain considering the wonderfully appropriate tinniness of the poorly maintained upright, the dialogue and Val Kilmer's portrayal of an inebriates version of this nocturne in the film but I think it's a match. After several reviews of the movie scene and the web clip it seems that Doc is playing early in the piece (about 25 seconds into the clip).I may be wrong but it was certainly worth watching clips of one my favorite movies and listening to Richter playing anything, let alone Chopin.
Kurt Russell, Val Kilmer, Sam Elliott, Bill Paxton, Powers Boothe, Michael Biehn, Charlton Heston, and Thomas Haden Church.

No. The 1993 Western -- starring Kurt Russell as Wyatt Earp and Val Kilmer as Doc Holliday -- wasn't nominated for any Academy Awards.
Boogie Nights is loosely based on John Holmes but the movie actually based on him is Wonderland with Val Kilmer playing Holmes.
That WAS Val Kilmer. Just saw it the other day. Very good movie.
Val Kilmer played Batman in the movie "Batman Forever," which was released in 1995.
