Who sits in the second funeral car?

It is normally the immediate family of the person that has died, such as parents, brothers and sisters, if there are no immediate relatives then it would be aunts, uncles cousins and so on, however it is up to the family arranging the funeral to decide who goes where. Indeed, the deceased may have already decided before they died by making their own funeral arrangements.

Normally the next immediate relatives following immediate family members. So it can be aunts, uncles, cousins but it is up to the family arranging the funeral what they want or indeed the deceased if they left funeral arrangements in place before they died, such as in pre-paid funeral plans.

The deceased and two undertakers in the first, (called the 'hearse') followed by immediate family in a limo or their own cars, then other family in their own cars, and close friends following. A preacher or clergy is also at the front.
