1st answer: It's probably because cutting hands and the top of your wrists is an emo stereotype. Either way it isn't healthy and you should probably get help. I cut too so I know how you feel. I can't get help due to my family not knowing how to fix me and low money. If you can get help then definitely do it.
2nd answer: Everybody can get help, even when you don't have the money or you don't want to tell your parents. You could contact your GP for help and go to therapies.
