Cigarettes (or cigars) have 4000 different toxins and chemicals added to it, 69 (yes, but not sexy) of these are known to cause cancer. Some of these chemicals are:

• tar, a black, sticky substance that contains many poisonous chemical such as: ammonia (found in floor and window cleaner), toluene (found in industrial solvents) and acetone (found in paint stripper and nail polish remover)

• nicotine, the addictive drug in tobacco

• carbon monoxide, a poisonous gas that reduces the amount of oxygen taken up by a person's red blood cells

• hydrogen cyanide, the poison used in gas chambers during World War ll

• metals, including lead, nickel, arsenic (white ant poison) and cadmium (used in car batteries)

• pesticides such as DDT, methoprene (found in flea powder) are used in growing tobacco. Other chemicals such as benzene (found in petrol) and naphthalene (found in mothballs) are added when cigarettes are being made.

Many reasons, such as cancer in the lung, heart, a few internal organs. Feet, toes, fingers, hands, arms, legs and such become black and disgusting. Teeth rot. Skin begins to turn gross. Harder to breath. Obviously if you smoke heaps, you're shortening your life span chunk by chunk. Even the one smoke would do you harm. Because that probably will not be your only smoke. Nicotine addiction keeps making you coming back for more. If you want anymore a good reason to quit, watch the television advertisements about smoking and you will see why.
