Honestly no. I am quite sick of that statement I play violent games all the time am I serial killer no. Listen violent people are violent before they buy violent video games and non violent people people that buy violent video games do not turn in to ravenous murderers. I see violent video games as an outlet for anger for some people which reduces violence in real life. so NO

There is scientific evidence that there is no directcorrelation between violent video games and violence in real life. However, people who play violent video games areusuallymoreprone tohaving shorter tempers, grumpier personalities, etc. In reality, it is up to the users' discretionwhetheror not to play the video games.Addendum:The "scientific" study that is so often used was conducted in the 1950's, decades before the development of the first commercial video game. What was used was violent images from comic books and serial movies. As stated, the only correlation that can be made from the original study is the people with alleged violent tendencies also have the tendency to be attracted to violent images. Go figure! There is no causation as implied by the question.
If your children have never played video games before and you are thinking about getting them some for the first time, it is a good idea to introduce them to Super Mario games before anything else. These games are classics. They provide a good balance of fun, excitement, and problem solving. If you have young children, you can be sure that the games will not be overly violent. The best thing about these games, though, is that they can be enjoyed by children of all ages. Many young adults grew up playing them, and they still like to play them today.
