If you want to know what would be a good weight for you, you should not look at average weight. The average weight of all the women in a country (say America for example) could be obese.

To calculate whether you have a healthy weight for your age, you should also take your height in consideration. The Body Mass Index (BMI) is a equasion you can do pretty easily and it will give you an idea of how thin/ fat/ healthy you are. Take your weight in kilograms, divide it by your (height in metres x height in metres). For example you weigh 62 and your height is 1.75 metres. Then you calculate that 62 divided by (1.75 x 1.75) equals 20. This means that you have a BMI of 20 if you are 1.75m tall and weigh 62 kilograms.

But what does BMI mean??

A BMI of below 18.5 is underweight

A BMI of 19-25 is healthy

A BMI over 25 is over weight

Hope this gives you an idea of what a average healthy weight for your age and height would be...
