Eating a soft peppermint now and then is not unhealthy and by itself this will not 'make' you fat. Your overall diet and approach to exercise will best determine whether or not you become fat. Are you eating too many soft peppermints? Do you feel out of control when you eat them? If either is true, you may be jeopardizing your health. There are medical conditions and some medications which may impact weight as well.
