My wife cant get enough of the stuff - drinks it like milk! She is 32 Weeks pregnant and all seems to be going well.
I think you should be safe. I have never heard anything against eating double cream while pregnant. I Googled it too, and nothing came up about avoiding it.
Yes but you should stay away from soft ice cream because of bacteria
The only reason cream cheese should be avoided while pregnant is if you've been advised to reduce your fat intake.
Can someone please help with this question??? i think you can as its not made from cheese...???
Yes - as long as it is shop brand (Coles, Tescos) or Heinz
Some delicious double cream recipes to try are double cream scones, double cream chocolate mousse, and double cream cheesecake.
yes definetely safe , what not to eat during pregnancy is listed here http://www.easyninemonths.com/pregnancy_diet.htm
You should not eat unpasteurized cream if that is what you meant. Unpasteurized milk( or cream) may contain bacteria called Listeria, which can cause miscarriage. Listeria has the ability to cross the placenta and may infect the baby leading to infection or blood poisoning, which can be life-threatening. Make sure that any milk that you drink or cream you eat is pasteurized.
Yes. Unless you are watching your figure or can find another very good reason.
