From personal experience, they definitely help me poop. I buy about 2 bunches a week. I eat at least 2 bananas a day to harden my stool. It tends to help the stool come out in solid pieces rather than mushy sticky fragments. Sticky stools require so much wiping it makes me raw and sore afterwards. It also leaves me with an uncertainty that I am finished with the bm. Sometimes the bananas can make the stool so hard that I have to strain a lot to push it out. I would much rather have that than have to get 5 rolls of toilet paper and a garden hose to wash the sticky stool fragments out of my anus.

Yes they can! u squeeze them and then the mushy stuff comes out and sniff it, then it should smell something like rotten cabage
