Like all food, it all depends how much you eat. Raw fruit is a natural food, so it's generally more healthy for your body in terms of nutrients. On the other hand, fruit contains a lot of sugar, and even natural sugar isn't good in excess. Vegetables are better for you in this sense. Exercise (combined with a healthy diet) is the real key to losing weight; eating fruit alone won't make much of a difference.
