Enzymes
A hormone is an example of the globular class of proteins
Tritiory proteins are globular proteins. Every enzyme is a globular proteins.
There are two class of protein based on their structure namely fibrous and globular. Globular proteins form a globe like spherical structure in contrary to rod like fibrous proteins (collagen). They are soluble in water and the structure is rendered by its three dimensional arrangement of amino acids in solution. Most of the enzymes, soluble hormones and factors fall into this class of proteins.

Globular proteins are compact and generally rounded in shape, and they readily dissolve in aqueous solutions due to their hydrophilic regions that interact with water molecules. Examples of globular proteins include enzymes, antibodies, and some regulatory proteins.
Storage molecules, transport molecules, and movement.
Globular proteins are typically found in a variety of foods, including dairy products like milk and cheese, meat, eggs, and legumes. They can also be present in plant-based foods such as nuts and seeds. These proteins play essential roles in nutrition, providing amino acids necessary for various bodily functions, including enzyme activity and immune response. Additionally, globular proteins can be found in some processed foods where they serve as functional ingredients.
