It would be extremely difficult for a person to gain more than 1-2 pounds of actual body weight in a single day. Water is extremly important for guinea pigs!! One pig can easliy go through a regular sized water bottle per day! Remeber if you are NOT feeding your pig any fresh veggies (that contain vitimin C), then it should be added to their water! However; fresh is best-& feed veggies everyday! *Also-Guinea pigs are social animals, if you are NOT spending at least one hour a day of direct contact w/ exercise, you should probably get a companion pig for your original pig! Keep loving your pigs, hope this answered your question! pig lover in Florida!
