* Cardio exercise and eat a healthy diet. * Try a reasonable number of crunches or sit-ups each morning or night, and eat healthy. Note: I have recently learned that sit-ups/crunches do not effectively work if your lower back is strengthened. If your lower back is strong, the work to do a sit-up comes from your back instead of your stomach. Horseback riding and other activities may cause back muscles to be strengthened. Ask a gym instructor about this.
