I do not know of any fat calories that have glasses of wine....and if you were asking how many fat calories are in a glass of wine the answer is zero. There is no fat in wine unless you have some super funky dunky wine.

Does one donut or one glass of wine have more calories?

In addition to having many more calories than a glass of wine (or a bottle of beer or a shot of whiskey), a donut also contains saturated fat, cholesterol and sodium. In addition, the consumption of donuts is associated with weight gain, whereas the consumption of alcohol is not. And the moderate consumption of alcohol is also associated with better health and greater longevity than is abstaining from it.

Why is wine fattening?

Weight gain is still basically the equation of calories consumed to calories burned. If you consume more calories than you use up, the body stores those calories in the form of fat for future use. The form that you consume the calories is irrelevant to the body, whether the calories come from a glass of milk, or a glass of wine. If the wine calories add more to the total calories than you burn, then you will put on weight.
