Approximately 20 grams of WATER. Any other substance that you put on the Tablespoon, will weigh a DIFFERENT number of grams of course. A level Tblspn of sugar or flour or yeast or honey, etc. will all have very different weights.

A gram is a unit of weight while a tablespoon is a unit of volume and therefore the two are not comparable unless one is discussing a specific substance as in the example above. However, one must be careful to clarify whether one is referring to a metric tablespoon, a US tablespoon or a UK tablespoon.
