While both melatonin and hydroxyzine are generally considered safe when used individually, combining them should be approached with caution. Hydroxyzine is an antihistamine that can cause sedation, and melatonin is a sleep aid, which could potentially enhance sedative effects. It is important to consult a healthcare provider before using them together to avoid excessive drowsiness or other interactions. Always follow professional medical advice tailored to individual health needs.

Use your own discretion as I'm not a professional but this is what i found...Melatonin Dosage InformationKeep the following information in mind before administering any amount of dosage of melatonin to your pet dog.For large sized dogs the dosage must be given no more than three times a day. The dosage must be taken orally, and the amount can vary between 3 - 9 mg.For medium-sized dogs 1 - 3 mg of melatonin must be administered orally, about 2 times a day.For small dogs an oral dosage of about 0.5 - 1 mg once a day should be adequate.Under any circumstance, DO NOT administer a dosage of melatonin to your dog without consulting a veterinarian. This can cause your dog a great deal of harm, as you may not be aware about the amount of dosage as well as the intervals between each dosage.
There's been no evidence that melatonin is a drug that is capable of an OD. Personally, I've taken several mgs (upwards of 20) and was fine. The only drawback is that you'll feel very groggy in the morning. Also, don't use too much, well, too much. Melatonin is a naturally occurring drug that is excreted from the pineal gland in the absence of light. If you continue to regularly take melatonin every night, it can temporarily disrupt melatonin production in the brain. It's not life-threatening by any means, but it can severely disrupt your natural sleep schedule.
Well I did like 20 minutes ago and my breathing is irregular but thats it, I'll comment again in the morning lol
