I’ve tried it before and, for the price, it’s a very good green tea. Of course it does not compare to a good loose leaf tea made in a teapot (my favorite way to make and drink tea), but I rate the Kirkland green tea highly among teabag teas. Costco sells this under the Kirkland brand, but the tea is made in Japan by Ito-en, one of the largest tea manufacturers in the world and one with a very good reputation among tea drinkers.

Also, even though the tea leaves in the teabags are actually the crumbs left over from the tea processing and grading, it comes from the processing of high-quality leaf, so in reality you are getting high-quality leaf at an affordable price.

Some that make green tea often complain that it comes out bitter and unpalatable. This can be avoided by letting the water stand 3–5 minutes after boiling. This way, when you steep the teabag for 30–60 seconds, it will not taste bitter, but rather have a pleasant taste with a hint of sweetness. The Kirkland green tea is amazing when brewed this way.
