Not as simple as just age...There is no perfect or ideal weight for a 9-year-old because weight is related to height and body composition rather than just age. For height/weight charts of children at various stages, see the page listed under Related Questions.

Male and female weights very significantly. Simply because of body type variances. By the age of 9 both genders should have already achieved at least 75% of adulthood height (male achieves 75% at 9, female achieves 75% at 8). Other than that there are not an extreme amount of variables involved in calculating other than the typical female of that age is just slightly taller and holds onto body fat a little easier (considering the XX chromosomes tend to develop and enter puberty at an earlier age) than that of her male counterparts. All an all, females at the age of 9 are a tad bit further along in development and begin to show the natural female mental acuity for problem solving and complex reasoning skills. A boy at 9 might be roughly 133cm and 28kg. A girl at 9 might be roughly 132cm and 29kg.

So, as previously stated there is no ideal or perfect weight for a 9-year-old boy or girl or a person of any age. This is because weight is related to height and body composition rather than only age.
