Sc2S3, or scandium(III) sulfide, is generally considered insoluble in water. This compound does not readily dissolve in aqueous solutions, which is typical for many metal sulfides. Therefore, when mixed with water, Sc2S3 will not significantly dissociate into its constituent ions.
