Fried or boiled eggs contain high amounts of "bad" cholesterol, which is unhealthy - thus it is unwise to eat more than 4 eggs of this type, by week. They are nonetheless very nutritious.

Raw eggs, on the other hand, are full of "good" cholesterol (improves brain functioning) and, if you only eat the yolk (as the raw whites contain a protein which can cause nutrient deficiency), you will get a *very* nutritious meal. Unfortunately, raw eggs can be contaminated by salmonella, which is destroyed in the normal boiling/frying process.
