The answer is "NO", except for your mother's milk. The proof is in the fact that human beings evolved on continents in which cows didn't exist. Primates (including humans) have survived on earth for millions of years, however the recent trend of farming has only existed in the last few thousand years, which is merely a speck on the human existence timeline. A few thousand years is not sufficient time to have evolved immunities to the dangers of consistently drinking cow milk as an adult. In the wild we would have only drank milk from our mothers, and even that would only had been until we were old enough to chew solid food and drink water with the adults. The trend of drinking milk as an adult became popular amongst farming populations when it was discovered that breast milk from other mammal species, such as goats & cows, could sustain us and prevent starvation during hard times. Yes, milk is a great alternative to starving but is no replacement for plant food, which is the premium octane to the human body. An unleaded fuel car engine can run on leaded gasoline, but it prefers unleaded, and eventually the leaded gas will take it's toll. Similarly, our strong and wonderful bodies are capable of miraculous adaptations in the name of survival, but our systems are designed to consume vegetables and fruits. We definitely are not designed to drink from the tit of a completely different species; this is an insane aberration from our natural diet, no matter how popular it has become. But like anything else, if it makes money, it will be marketed and promoted, and farming cows has become big business in this world, reflecting our ever growing appetites for milk & dairy. It's easy for a whole planet to become addicted to dairy products; milk, cheese, and ice-cream all appeal to the child in us and plays on our instinctive cravings for our mothers milk. Wanna' live to be a hundred? ..and live at your best potential health? DON'T DRINK MILK.
