It was established that breakfast is the most important meal of the day and that it is the beginning meal that gives you the energy you need, you shouldn't wait until lunch because basically if you have lunch in the middle, then you'll most likely only have energy for the second half of the day, and that would be bad because you should have energy to go through out the entire day, not just half. I'm not an expert in nutrition, but I do know that it might ruin the reputation of your diet it you don't follow it correctly, for sure you don't get anything "good" out of skipping breakfast and having lunch.
