Pig feet, also known as trotters, can be nutritious as they are rich in collagen, which supports joint health and skin elasticity. They also provide protein and essential minerals like zinc and iron. However, they are high in fat and calories, so moderation is key, especially for those monitoring their fat intake or heart health. As with any food, it's best to enjoy pig feet as part of a balanced diet.

I would not recommend rubbing lotion on your guinea pigs feet. If they are swollen I would take the guinea pig to the vet due to the possibility that it can be an infection on your guinea pigs feet.
