Well, you can exercise and lift weights, and you can try some protein powders or bars. And be patient...you're on the verge of blooming into a bigger body, so don't worry too much. Fat will cause you problems later on, try muscle. First, you can start using the gym (at school or a local gym if you can afford membership). Second, start on protein powder. You can get it at the local GNC or some place like Walmart should have it. You should also keep in mind that you may be blessed with a high metabolism which will make it seem impossible to add the bulk you want. Your metabolism will slow down around age 25-30 and you will start seeing a spare tire around your mid-section.....then you may miss your thinner frame. Be comfortable in your own skin, it is easier said than done, but take it from someone who knows and has been through the same thing. Genes also play a part, something you can't change, but you can also try wearing clothes which hide your thin frame. Nothing too baggy or you will look funny. Straight pants with a button up shirt that is not tucked in is one idea. My son is 17 and weighs 110 pounds but he eats very healthily with a varied diet. He is also extremely healthy, no colds, no flu, nothing. One thing I have noticed is that although he does not take a great deal of formal exercise he fidgets. Even if playing a video game he twitches with every move of the figures on the screen. He is also always very warm, he obviously has a very high metabolism, probably like you. Building muscle is definitely the way to go, however you do need some fat, just top keep you warm. If you like nuts they are a good source of protein and good fats, also easy to carry around and snack on. One of the problems if very thin is that you may also have thin bones which will predispose you to osteoporosis when older so drinking milk will help as well.
