Fruit gives you vitamins, and if you are eating unhealthy snacks such as chips, fried meats etc. or if you eat big desserts, fruit really helps balance your diet and make you healthy. The less water in the fruit, the more vitamins it will have. (This means bananas are one of the healthiest fruits).

Vegetables don't make you skinny and healthy-looking the way fruits do. Take carrots, for example. Your skin will develop an orange tint and you will become stronger if you eat a lot of them.
