What you'll find is that overweight children also tend to be much taller than their average weight peers. They also tend to end up taller than their normal weight associates. It seems that as long as you're consuming more calories than you need, you will grow quite tall (assuming you're in general good health). But there isn't really a particular sort of food that will make you grow tall, other than a balanced diet. (Obviously once you've finished growing it would be wise to lose the weight and maintain a healty lifestyle. Boys finish growing 19-22 years, whearas girls finish early to mid teens).
