Icelanders eat many of the same foods that many people eat.

They have cheeses, meats, and dairy.

Almost all of their tomatoes carrots and other vegetables are grown in greenhouses located on the island itself. Some fruits and vegetables are imported. Chips are not big in Iceland as they cost double as much as they would in most places. Coke is huge and large sections of grocery stores are devoted to it.

A product that is unique to Iceland is Skyr (pronounced something along the lines of skeer)

is is a very very fresh cheese that is extremely similar to a thick yogurt. These come in many flavours, many of which are fruits, (ex, blueberry, coffee, apricot. My personal favourite is pear)

Hope this helps :D
