Well it is hypothesized that dinosaurs went extinct because a huge meteor crashed down to Earth. This meteor caused such a huge impact that it sent dust and particles of the Earth to go flying, reflecting and blocking the sun's rays. This caused the climate to go way down and the food source for the dinosaurs must have died because of the new climate. Thus, the dinosaurs didn't have anymore food and died of hunger

What were the challenges the dinosaurs faced before they were EXTINCT?

The dinosaurs were going through dramatic climate change.

How did the leopard become extinc?

No one knows for sure how the dinosaurs went extinct. However, some of the theories are a dramatic climate change, or a large meteorite impact.

Where did the dinosaurs go?

The dinosaurs went extinct millions of years ago, but there is not a conclusive reason as to why. The most widely accepted theory is about climate change - the planet got too hot and the climate shifted too dramatically for the dinosaurs to adapt.

Did dinosaurs die because of global cooling?

They say because a meteor landed were they lived. Other theories include disease and climate change.

Do species become extinct from climate change?

it is possible. if the animal is only found in the wild in a sertain area and cannot addapt to the climate change then yes, it is very much possible

When did snowy owls become extinct?

Is there fear of climate change in the rain forest?

yes, the fear of climate change is very high because of global warming. Climate change is also caused by the pollution on the earth and in the ocean, rivers, and/ or lakes and also streams. Climate change can cause plants and animals to become extinct and die, too.

What happens if a species no longer reproduces?

Extinction. When a species fails to adapt, it dies out.

How did the weather caused dinosaurs to become extinct?

The extinction of the dinosaurs is primarily attributed to a dramatic change in climate caused by a massive asteroid impact around 66 million years ago. This event led to widespread fires, a "nuclear winter" effect, and a significant drop in temperatures, disrupting ecosystems and food chains. Additionally, volcanic activity in the Deccan Traps may have contributed to long-term climate changes, further exacerbating the survival challenges for dinosaurs. These rapid and severe shifts in weather and habitat ultimately led to their extinction.
