As of my last update in October 2023, Rex Jelly is no longer available on the market. The product was discontinued, and there have been no announcements regarding its return. For the most current information, it's best to check with retailers or the manufacturer's website.
HLL likely stopped selling Rex Jelly due to a combination of factors, including declining sales, changes in consumer preferences, and the need to focus on more profitable product lines. Market research may have indicated a shift in consumer demand away from jelly products, leading the company to discontinue the product to allocate resources more effectively. Additionally, evolving health and wellness trends may have influenced the decision to phase out a product that may not align with current consumer preferences for healthier options.
As of July 2014, the market cap for REX American Resources Corporation (REX) is $703,654,666.00.
As of July 2014, the market cap for Rex Energy Corporation (REXX) is $789,938,810.80.

indeed, he needs to lay off the jelly donuts and calzones
There is a market for gross candy products. What they did wrong was to attach the Jelly Belly name to it.
Rex's fate is still to be revealed
Oh, dude, they totally make old fashioned Rex Jelly! It's like a vintage classic, you know? It's been around for ages, but it's not like they're churning it out in some ancient factory. You can still find it in some specialty stores or online if you're feeling nostalgic for some retro jelly vibes.
Rex Jelly was sold in the 1930s 40s 50s and 60s (that I know of). It was a unique mixture of fruit flavors that resembled raspberry but was not so dense. The filling that used to be in jelly donuts is as close as I have come, but for some reason, it has been changed. It was the favorite jelly in our family (my granddad used to say it was made from horses hoofs). Be that as it may, it was sure good on toast, biscuits and even with coconut cake. Wish I could find it again. The stuff sold online (Amish and all that...just seedless raspberry and not at all the same).
